Weather: Cold & snowy. Highs around 30 degrees. Wind at 5mph, gusts up to 10mph
Water: C’mon, it’s Lake Tahoe! Crystal clear visibility down to at least 25ft. Water temp 40 degrees.
Fishing: Launched from Cave Rock, NV. Kayak trolled at 2mph pulling a Speedy Shiner and Flicker Shad. Speedy Shiner at 2-5ft deep. Flicker 5 at 8-10ft deep. Nothing for me. My buddy caught a nice 4-5lbs Mackinaw on a Megabass 110 Vision. Other buddy caught Rainbow Trout on a jointed Rapala Scatterrap. All toplined. Water started getting rough so we called it an early day on the yaks. Soaked nightcrawlers from shore afterwards. No action from shore.
