Over the past couple years, you've known us as Kana Fishing Custom Baits and/or BayAreaFinesse.com. While these brands were serving their original purposes, we received a lot of feedback from our incredible customers of being confused what the difference was between the 2 different brands.
Well, we listened and why we're excited to announce we're in the process of rebranding the entire business to a new single brand called SLING BAITS!
Over the new several weeks, we'll be making changes to the website, social channels, packaging, shipping labels, and everything else to SLING BAITS. We appreciate your patience as we make the migration.
WHY THE CHANGE?
In short, we evolved from the original goals of each brand. These brands were designed for BFS/finesse fishing applications. We worked with other hobbyists and baitmakers to showcase their finesse products and brands, while creating our own under Kana Fishing.
However, customers told us they don't only fish finesse -- they also fish "standard" techniques and wanted bigger baits such as larger senko-style, frogs, craws, etc... We listened and started making larger baits. This is when we realized we were moving away from our original plans.
Customer feedback is what drives our business. Once again, we are listening to our customers and eliminating brand confusion. We opted to go with a new single brand that encompasses all techniques and styles. Still the same incredible quality, service, and team, now with a new name: SLING BAITS (slingbaits.com). We even have a new tagline:
