If you've delved into the BFS world already, you may have heard people use the term "Power BFS". But, what is it?
While there's no official definition of Power BFS, it generally means fishing with baits slightly heavier than finesse baits, but not as heavy as traditional baits. "Finesse" baits weigh in between 1-5 grams. "Power BFS" are baits usually in the 5-10 gram weight category being thrown on BFS gear, assuming the rod can support the weight. Some BFS anglers feel the Power BFS band is more around 4-8 grams. Either way, just think of it as baits that border ultralight & traditional weights.
