Fish the Gilli flat on a weightless rig with a size 2 or larger hook to imitate a dying blue gill. Our favorite is to fish them on a Free Rig with a size 1 EWG hook with a weedless presentation. You can also fish them upright on a jig head and jerk fish the Gilli. There are so many different ways to fish these flat or upright. The profile of the bait displaces more water than a worm and the tail offers fast, twitchy action. The bass won't know what hit them.
